Take your time to familiarize yourself with the toolset, and once you think you have mastered the basic skills, start thinking of a story or expand from the first mod you have just created. To make the mod really playable and fun, you will need to pick up some of the advanced skills, particularly NWN2 scripting. But all that are manageable if you take time to learn it.
