Playing a New Mod

There are several ways where you can get your hands on some new mods. As new mods = new play materials, it is a nice way to get more play time out of your investment of Neverwinter Nights 2.

You may:

download a new mod from an Internet NWN Mod repository, such as the NWVault, or the soon-to-be-available NWN2 Mod Exchange at Atari
purchase and download a new Adventure Pack from a third party developer, such as Ossian Studio
obtain a new mod made by one of your "modder" friends
be testing a new mod made by you

1. Start by loading Neverwinter Nights 2, and after all the Intro movies have played, click on NEW GAME.

N.B.: If you are tired of watching the Intro Movies over and over again, you may want to disable the movies. To do this, open up nwn.ini with a text editor. Add a Disable Movie=1 to the Section.

2. Once the next screen loads, click on NEW MODULE.

3. When the list of game modules is loaded, scroll down the list and locate the mod by name. Select the right mod and click on START MODULE to begin playing. Enjoy!
